Journey of IPA

From the year	IPA Journey
1970	First President was Shri Kanchanbhai B. Wadhwa (The Sidhpur Sat Isabgol Factory) who took over the helm of the association named Isabgol Manufacturing and Export Association
1980 to 1989	Late shri Kamalprasad Sud (Kamal & Sons) became the president and managed the business of the association for many years.
1990	Late. Shri Rajubhai Patel (Jyot Overseas) became president and Mr. Hasmukhbhai Modi became secretary of IPA.
1995	Mr. Prafulbhai Mehta (Aatish Ind.) became president and Mr. Hasmukhbhai Modi secretary. In this year the name of the association was changed due to a amendment in government legislation so that the new named “Isabgol Processors Association” started.
2000	Mr. Hasmukhbhai Modi was became President and Mr. Bharat Patel was secretary.
2002	Late. Shri Rajubhai Patel (Jyot Overseas) again elected as a president and Mr. Bharat Patel was secretary.
2004	Mr. Narendrabhai Patel (North Gujarat Isabgol Ind.) as a president and Mr. Amrutbhai Patel (Sarvoday Sat Isabgol Factory) as a secretary was selected. • During this period IPA team worked hard against Gujarat Govt. and removed VAT on Psyllium. • Also worked hard and achieved to start screening of Isabgol Seeds in APMC market
2010	Mr. Vishnubhai Patel ( Sun Psyllium) took over as a president responsibility and Mr. Rakesh Patel (Sarvoday Sat Isabgol Factory) as a secretary remain the same.
2014	Mr. Alpesh Patel (Jyot Overseas) was elected as a President and Mr. Rakesh Patel (Sarvoday Sat Isabgol Factory) as a secretary remain the same. • Due to challenges in many subjects such as VAT, EU etc... IPA created a first advisory committee consisted of Mr. Niraj Wadhwa, Mr. Vipul Sud, Mr. Amrut Patel, Mr. Praful Mehta. Mr. Manubhai Patel. Mr. Pravin Patel. This committee was solved lots of IPA issues for many years and done very good job.
2020	Again Shri Narendra Bhai Patel (North Gujarat Isabgol Ind.) was an appointed as the President and Mr. Rakesh Patel (Sarvoday) remains the same as Secretary and Mr. Amit Patel (Gayatry Ind.) as a treasure in place of Shri Manubhai Patel (Keyur Industries) has been a long-time treasurer. • Advisory committee was worked hard for removal of GST on raw Isabgol Seeds and continue efforts on GST clarification.
2023	Mr. Ashwinbhai Nayak, who has been working in this trade and industry for the last 30 years, was appointed as the President and Mr. Rakesh Patel remains the same as Secretary.

IPA Activities

1) President Shree Narendrahbhai Patel , Mr. Jitendra Nayak Vice President , Rakesh Patel secretary do the hard work and abolish VAT.
2) IPA Created a first Advisory Committee consisted of Mr. Praful Mehta , Mr. Amarut Patel, Mr. Niraj Wadhwa, Mr. Vipul Sud, Mr. Manubhai Patel & Mr. Pravin Patel due to challenges in many subjects such as VAT, EU etc. This committee is also solved lot of IPA problem for many years and done very good job.
3) IPA Secretary, Treasurer and members was done various activities. In April 2023 there was started NCDEX trade on Isabgol and to protect the Industries IPA team has been convinced NCDEX committee to stop Isabgol online trade and hopefully it was succeed.
